Rebecca Lardner
Rebecca is recognised for her oils on canvas that beautifully depict life on land and at sea. Her colour palette is based strongly on the ocean, with blues, greens and greys filling the entire canvas. The portrayal of figures, boats and sea birds create a feeling of constant activity, this is enhanced by the natural curves of the classic English harbour that provide movement and energy.
Born in Purbeck in Dorset in 1971, Rebecca went on to complete an Art Foundation Course and graduated from the University of Liverpool with a BA Honours degree in Illustration. She then built a successful career as an artist and illustrator, commissioning pieces for a number of high-profile clients such as Paul McCartney's Music Academy, and a range of magazines and vinyl sleeves.
Rebecca has exhibited her work in a range of acclaimed galleries in the UK, Europe and the USA and her emotive oils sell to collectors from all over the world.
