Born in Ukraine in 1961, Andrei painted from a very early age and following high school accepted into the renowned Lugansk State Scholl of Fine Art, followed by a Masters Degree in Fine Art from the Imperial Academy of Arts in St Petersburg, Russia.
It was during this time that Andrei was taught by his dream professor Evsey Moiseenko, who was friends with Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall and Robert Rauschenberg, and Andrei was one of Moiseenko’s final students and sadly passed away upon Andrei’s graduation in 1989.
In 1994 Andrei moved to the United States and here his work became popular in New York showcased by several galleries and attracting collectors from Coca-Cola to President George W Bush.
Andrei has embedded his use of line into all of his artworks, his straight constructive use of line embodies his classical training in fine art in every way.
The soul of Andrei’s artwork is in his infatuation with human relationships, love and beauty, he believes that the universal language in the world is love, and he embraces this in each painting playfully with unique colours, lines and textures not seen in any other contemporary artists work.
Today he is based in Stroudsburg Pennsylvania and paints from his own studio/gallery space, and from here his modern masterpieces are shipped globally with representing galleries through the USA, Europe and Asia.
